I'm a recent finance graduate looking to start my own company that invests in undervalued public equities. I've been investing in stocks for the last three years, and I've been able to achieve returns of 100%+ in one year and 80%+ in the next. I took part in a program at my college that taught professional research skills and how to develop complex stock valuation models.
I firmly believe I can achieve 2-5% per month, or 24-60% per year, trading between $100k - $500k and I would like to leverage my skills with an investor's money. I don't have a formal business plan because this isn't a traditional business and I honestly don't know how likely an investor is to take interest in this kind of business. Basically the investor would be investing in my skills and not an actual product.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Any information about what I should do or where I should look for investors would be greatly appreciated!
Note: I DON'T DAY TRADE! I do short term investing (1-3 months) and my trading is based off a company's fundamentals.
