12th Annual Independent Inventors Conference to be Held in September

The 12th Annual Independent Inventors Conference, co-sponsored by the USPTO, North Carolina State University and the National Inventors Hall of Fame® Foundation, will be held at the College of Textiles, N.C. State University in Raleigh, on September 14-15, 2007.

A pre-conference workshop on September 13, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. is included with your registration for anyone interested in learning why patents exist and how they protect inventions.  This is a basic workshop for beginners and will allow you to attend an additional breakout session during the conference.  For anyone unable to attend the pre-conference workshop, it will be repeated during the conference.

USPTO presenters will include Commissioner for Patents John Doll, Technology Center Directors Marian Knode and Andy Faile as well as Supervisory Patent Examiners.

Save the date--registration for this event will begin Monday, July 30th.  Visit www.uspto.gov or call 571-272-8850 for additional registration information.

They do have speakers.  Maybe you could be one.  You might want to contact John J. Love - see http://www.uspto.gov/biographies/biox_love.htm.  His phone is 571-272-8800
