I hope it`s okay to post here to introduce myself.  My name is Lisa Schaab and I have been browsing around a few days and decided to join.

There is alot of very useful information in the Forum.  I`m working my way around the site now.  Hope to meet up with you all in the forums.

Would you like to talk about what`s your business, or what idea you have about starting a business? These forums aren`t always about people who already have a startup going. It`s also a great place to get energized to put together a business, if that`s what you`ve been wanting to do for awhile.

Ah...but of course, Funderbug! :-D Interesting idea.

I did read some posts about putting together a business.  The replies were too numerous to read all of them. 

Can you direct to a forum post that summarizes the ideas that have been suggested?

:-D Um....well, since there are that many of them, no. Your best course is to just wander. You can use the "search" bar for things like "starting my own business," and choose the message text. But there`s no particular rush. Just wander through the many topics, as they`re usually pretty well organized in categories.

A better course would be to post a new topic that specifically deals with particular questions you`re having, that apply to you. If there`s something that another topic has covered in great depth, someone may remember it and post a connecting link. Otherwise, you still get some interesting ideas on your own topic.

I looked at your businesses. There is a variety of interesting businesses here.

I will go back and look at them again after I "get settled in" here.  Though, I may need to order some beef jerky from Janie.  My kids love the stuff and we always pick up a bag if we see a brand we haven`t tried.
