I discovered the Startup Nation podcasts before I learned there was a site
with soooo much great info. I have yet to get involved in an online
community and I think this one will be the most fitting for me to give it a
whirl.
I am a self-employed artist and I my success is due not only to my talent,
but my unique ways of marketing. I really try to think outside of the box
when it comes to making money as an artist. The question I asked myself
years ago is: How can I get one piece of art to give me a continuous
income? I found a solution.
I also have a few other businesses up my sleeve. I have designed a series
of cool cat images for apparel and other products. I`ve created the
artwork and my partner developed the idea. www.lifeispurrfect.com
My big project involves a camping trailer of which I have designed and
patented that is a springboard for a company of related products and
ideas that will change the culture of camping and outdoor recreation
forever. This is my monumantal dream!
The reason I am not starting that yet is I am focusing on my more current
startup of an internet business. I cannot disclose my idea yet but my
partner and I will be launching a teaser site in a couple of months while
we are still building. I will say this, it will be the first website of its kind.
This is my first startup and I have been swallowing a lot of information
about entrepreneurship.
I`m looking forward to bouncing ideas, unknowns and solutions around
the forums. Thanks for being here!
