Hi everyone-

I host a podcast and often try to interview other entrepreneurs. I have just been finding and interviewing other local entrepreneurs, but have recently met a couple business owners that I would like to interview in other countries or that are outside of my driving distance. I have a skype account is there anyway to record interviews or does anyone have a method that works for recording interviews over the phone or other type of media? Thanks for your help!

By coincidence I have just interviewed 16 entrepreneurs!

I have used a mixture of mp3 recording over the phone and Skype. The MP3 recording does very much depend upon the quality of the phone line - some were excellent some OK. Skype was generally more consistent and of better quality. I used Powergramo to record the Skype conversations - it is free and very easy to use: http://www.powergramo.com/

I also used several `recording` type software to improve the finished product. Audacity is free but I preferred Wavepad as it has better facilities for removing hiss and hum.

Thanks a lot. I use Audacity and export the file as an mp3 for my show, so I am very familiar with that program. I have Skype downloaded, but am not very experienced with it. I will download powergramo, I think that is the key ingredient that I was missing though. Thanks again, I was really hoping that someone here would help me out. I really appreciate it.
