I am a Canadian citizen residing in Belize.  With a local I am planning my own company, Barker and Bartley Foods.  Our business idea, in a nutshell, is to produce local and tropical food products for sale in niche markets across North America and Europe.

The planning process has been a success until now; we are stuck trying to understand international shipping and selling.  In Belize we would simply load our product into a pickup truck and sell it at the local market.  In North America and Europe things are never so simple.

At minimum, what are our options for shipping and selling food products overseas?  We are really in the dark here and don`t even know where to begin.

Anything would be appreciated, even a helpful link.
