Hello,
I am curious as to your thoughts on required insurance for an online service (web site). What type of insurance would be required? Obviously no one is physically endangered by using the web site and so there shouldn`t be any personal injury that way.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

your only real exposure as a webdesigner is a "professional" liability... meaning if you get sued for stealing someone else`s work... if you worked out of a retail office you would need insurance though.

Invest some amount in insurance also. It is a good life cover as well as health cover. It is not only save your tax amount but you are also securing your future. But it is essential to know the full details about it and it is also better to choose policy according to requirement.

Among all type of insurance plan pure term insurance are always best , rest are mixed with some flavour of investment. Some people go with that for tax rebate. Online and Offline are issue of debate but frankly speaking when you like to choose term plan then online is better option but for other plans i think its not suitable.

There are millions of services that people require. You should go to Guru and Elance to see what people are looking for.

I don't think it's really necessary but just be careful if you are interested in getting this kind of services. That's the least that you can do.

I agree with Estella, some investment in the insurance is well help to our good life and health cover. Many peoples thinking, "insurance is only save the amount of taxes". But I think, It's not only save the tax amount, it also secure our feature life. So today, everyone needs to some invest in insurance. There are different types of insurance and policies, choose one which you required.

An online business doesn't require an insurance coverage like a traditional business. However with the increasing number of such businesses, the insurance is getting standardized. However online businesses are susceptible to financial losses, hacking, data loss etc. So insurance is becoming increasingly important.
