www.Daily-Inspiration-Quotes.com offers a large collection of inspirational quotes, plus the opportunity to sign up for free daily inspirational email.

The site is relatively successful, with over 50,000 subscribers.

My question is... The vast majority of my visitors/subscribers are quite non-technical and thus unable to promote my website through their own blog or website. Can anyone suggest how to make my site more easily found by, or more compelling to, people with blogs and websites?

Hi Jonathan,

I have a couple of suggestions.

First, there's way too much text on your page. Find some images to illustrate some of your quotes.  People like to see images of other people. It's inviting.

Additionally, the design looks dated. Have you considered a WordPress theme? They can be quite versatile.

If you want people to share, you should make sharing easy. I didn't see any social media buttons.  Do you have Twitter or Facebook? Reaching out to people who are already sharing is also a good way to start.

As for ways to get found ...

that's search engine optimization (SEO).  You can do that by on-page optimization for keywords and social bookmarking of your current content.

If you need any additional help, please let me know.

I agree with Wendy above. And just to add, you should really consider updating or having a cleaner website design. Treat  your design as the online equivalent of first impressions. Users nowadays are a lot discerning and discriminating when it comes to the websites that they visit, more so if they are bloggers. Bloggers also filter the things that they share and would want to associate themselves with good sites.
