Hey guys...

I am planning to start my small business soon. After a while, the idea clicks, I would like to go for incorporation. But I have a small problem. I am under 18 years of age. I cannot incorporate in my home country. I would like to incorporate it somewhere in Palo Alto or San Jose or New Jersy (anywhere is the US).

Is it possible for an under-18 to incorporate in the US?
What are the requirements for the incorporation procedure?(example... office space or anything such thing for proof)??
What are the costs involved (approx costs)?

Waiting for your replies... :)

Leu,

Move to the US!!! You will love it!!! The west coast is more entrepreneurial than the east coast, but you will have no problems starting a business in the US.

Until you do, you might consider incorporating in Nevada. They do not share information with the IRS, meaning corporate agents, President, Vice Pres, etc. are not reported to the IRS.It is okay to have foreign board members in a Nevada corporation. There also is no state tax in Nevada. Check out this site: http://www.nchinc.com/

Best of success,
