Greetings all,

First off, I want to introduce myself.  My name is Oleg Issers and I am the newest member of the StartupNation web team.

We are constantly working on improving StartupNation.com.  The enterpreneur community is the core of StartupNation, and  we need YOUR input to make StartupNation.com a better site.

Please use this forum to give us feedback on existing features, any new features you`d like to see, areas of the site that could use improvement, etc.

How can we make StartupNation.com work better for you?

Your load time seems to be better recently.

I was telling Ric that you have "Discuss this _____" all over the place ... podcasts, articles, whatever ... which takes you to the forums.
But you don`t have this in the blogs - they have their own commenting mechanism.
So my suggestion would be to turn off the commenting in the blogs and have people discuss in the forums instead, to have a more uniform action of discussion on SUN.

I had a couple suggestions:
- As HDean commented it would be nice to see how many people voted on each particular item with the polls.
- It would be cool to see a "digest mode" for the notifications so I`m not getting a 100 emails a day from SUN.  And also to include more pertinent information in the email itself.
- I mentioned in the past that it would be nice if a SUN member could create a survey and that all surveys would be archived so any members could see the results instead of what we have now where only the originator gets to see the results and the survey could be hosted by any number of companies.

A couple other random ideas
- Allow users to ask questions prior to having a guest speaker.
- Provide a question and answer type section geared directly to SMB questions similar in function to experts-exchange.com

Welcome to the team!

Hey Oleg!

I would like to see a a cleaner path to the podcasts and StartupNation radio archives.  It seems that if I go to StartupNation Radio for the newest show, I find it to be out of date.  But, I can go to the podcasts and find it there.

Are there any plans to put them under one category ... like StartupNation Media, or something like that?

Thanks.

Scott:

There are no definitive plans to do it at this time, but nothing is set in stone

I like your suggestion and it is something we will consider!
