I have been importing goods into the US for the past two years.  I want to expand my product lines but always wanted to know how the US Government comes up with the duties.

Does anyone have ideas how I can find informaion on duties coming into the US.  I would help me with my margins when I make a decision on buying a new product.

Thanks

This link from the U.S. Customs website should give you what you need.  Click on "Frequently Asked Questions" for specific answers to your question.

Can you list your preferred importing agents? I believe it would be useful to assign an agent who will take care of the shipyard movement of goods, and also manage the customs etc, and later charge for the total service?

Thanks in Advance,
