SEO of your website is really important. What can SEO do for you?

A. Makes you searchable - you will show up in search engines.

B. If you have a solid service or product to offer, it makes the internet world easier on the consumer - easier to find quality work.

C. The more links you have out there, the more traffic comes to your site (not including spam).

D. The more links to your site there are, the more trusted you’re going to be. If someone searches and you’re at or near the top of the listings, you’re likely used often and thus more reliable than some other services. People are more likely to click on your site to find out more.

E.You can track links and find out what things people are clicking on and why, so you can push more of a certain type of link out there. Marketing research.

F.If your links are on someone else’s page who is reputable, then you have “partnered up” with this other company. Not directly, but if someone sees someone is linked to a professional place, they’ll make a connection that this is a good place to go.

The number 1 is the main benefit I get in SEO. That's the main purpose why people do SEO - to be searchable in different search engines.

What is SEO? "Process to get organic traffic" , Then what is organic traffic "Traffic Obtained from search engine search results" , Why Organic traffic Important? Organic Traffic gives more business and more targeted traffic than reference sites traffic.

Mean if we done SEO more chances to get first page appearance and organic traffic more chances to get business.

Every day we get businesses coming to us looking to improve their search engine rankings. They want to talk about an SEO campaign but one quick look at their site and we see that SEO may not be the right approach for them. Usually in these cases the site needs a complete usability makeover.

I understand their standpoint. These are small businesses looking to purchase a service that will get them near instant visibility and exposure. "We'll take care of the rest," is what they often imply. But therein lies the problem. SEO and SEM without good usability is like inviting people out to eat at a rat and roach infested restaurant. You may bring people in, but you won't make them happy.

Positioning yourself for SEO is an essential element of online business.  However, chrisadam also has it right.  Make sure you know why you want people to come, who you want to come, and what you want them to do while they are there before you start investing loads of time in SEO.

Basics of a SEO Mindset

The critical part of SEO is to have the right SEO mindset, and attain pointers that can assist in succeeding when it comes to free search engine traffic. I will lay out 3 important SEO mindset basics based on my experience, that many people can overlook or get wrong.

1.) Submitting your site to many Search Engines

2.) Rush to get High PR but Not Search Engine Traffic

3.) Not needing SEO, already ranked high For My Name

Overall, the heart of SEO is (or should be) to target keyword phrases that have lower competition. It is possible to rank high without high PR by building more internal & external links to your pages and by daily updating blog or website content. By doing this you can easily get a faster index and rank higher.
