I know, it`s another topic that has been discussed before, but why don`t we let each other know who they feel their target market is.  It could be interesting! maybe:)

I`ll start.  I believe our Target Market is roughly in age...28-48 males and females, with disposable income, and good taste.:)  I`m not saying that older people don`t enjoy our product or that younger kids don`t go crazy over it, but I`m saying `that  this target market, is probably making the most purchases of our product whether or not it`s for them, their kids or a friend.

I know not everyone has disposable income, specially in times like this, but those that do,..... spend.

We are in  a business, that is selling a product , and I realize we need to know who our customers are.

Who are your customers?

I think there may be a flaw in the concept, here. We can feel and believe about a target market, but that`s not the same thing as an objective analysis, based on what actually is happening---who actually is buying the product.

We believed, for example, that our target market when we started would be boat owners. It turns out are actual target market is home owners looking for a particular type of interior decoration.

If we`d held to your own beliefs and feelings, we would have tried to "force" the target market to come see us, buy our stuff, and get involved. Instead, we changed our thinking based on results, and let the actual target market increase our visibility, sales, and even modify our product line.

I believe my market is 15 to 100. In the 15 to 35 age group mainly women. In the 30 to 100 age group both men and women. My struggle is the awareness around the product and how important it really is to the general public. I am very well informed about the benefits but that is because of my diagnosis and my educating myself.
I have received lots of positive responses regarding the designs.

My target market is any company or individual who sells to consumers in person or on the phone who wants to improve their sales results.
