Didn`t mean to leave you hanging. I`ve been going through several lists of ideas and getting advice from several friends and business people. All your suggestions were great, but I`ve narrowed down my search to one of the following. The wording might not be exact yet and the titles and subtitles might be somewhat interchangeable, but these give the general idea. I`d love some input from all of you.

NatureLink: Lake Erie West`s Outdoor Connection

Nature Today: Lake Erie West`s Source for Outdoor Information

Before you make your decision, make sure you check the US Trademark site, and do a basic Google/Yahoo search to see if anyone else is using those names. 

And most importantly, if you plan on having a web presence, check to see what logical domain names are available.  You don`t want to name it and then be stuck with a URL that won`t mean anything to your readers.

Already did all those things. The URL was the main consideration The only other major Fresh Air usage is a public radio program in Washington D.C. That isn`t close enough to cause a problem, is it?

Hi Vicki:

I don`t think it is a problem - but of course would check...where ever you have to check...I know the program and was going to mention it. It is on PRI, Public Radio International, on FM on the weekends mostly, a kinda-sorta news-information program.

Thanks Robin. Anybody else know where I can check that out? As I understand it, you can`t trademark the actual words - only the way in which they`re being used. Is that accurate? There would be no competition.
