I agree, IE has always been a pain and the IE8 Beta continues the tradition.  I`ve had some problems displaying an Activegrid JavaScript control on it, works in IE 7 emulation mode (and on every other major browser).

But what can you do except code around it?  Unless you`re building an Intranet application you can`t get away from IE, it`s still the most popular browser out there.  At least by releasing a public beta Microsoft has given us the opportunity to get our code ready before this ships as the standard browser in Windows 7.
