Happy Halloween Everyone!

I was told tonight by my husband that I`m a "re-weener". The town next to us had trick or treat tonight, and our town has it tomorrow. We always go to this certain "haunted" yard in the other town on the 30th and do minor trick or treating with the kids. (Then do serious T-or-T in our town on teh 31st.) My 4-y-o collected quite a large sum of candy (a lot had gluten in it so he can`t eat it) and I mentioned to my husband that I was glad because I wasn`t sure we had enough at our house to give out tomorrow night. Hence, I was called a "re-weener". I guess it`s kind of like re-gifting, but on Halloween.

So - those of you with kiddos - what are they dressed as? My 4.5-y-o is a pit crew mechanic for Lightening McQueen from the movie "Cars". My 18-m-o is a skeleton - the total opposite of his body type.

Happy Halloween!

Great term "re-weener". Your husband is almost as creative as you are.

My 8 y.o. son will be Dracula. He had a chance to try it out Saturday night at a neighborhood party.  He`s been working on imitating Bela Lugosi`s voice and movements. With the time change, though, he`s getting tired even earlier than usual, so he`s not much of a "creature of the night."

Happy Halloween!!

I like that term, "re-weener"!!

What I normally with my son is that I let him choose a few that he likes, then I`d `purchase` the rest of the candies for a few bucks and bring all of them to my office; pick out all the ones that I LIKE and dump the rest in this bowl for the rest of the gangs here.

He is going to dress up as Dracula as well!!

OK, so my buddy and I have these eggs that have been sitting out for a few weeks getting ripe you know, and we`re going to hide up on the hill and ambush...

oh, no, wait a minute...   That was in high school and nothing was ever proven...

You know.... I`m seriously thinking about going to my friend`s house and TPing her bushes, just to be funny. She`ll be at work, and as long as her hubby isn`t home... I just might do it!! I`ve never TPed before and I`m excited about the prospect!

By the way - I am wearing a t-shirt with the Tootsie Pop owl that says "Show me the candy". LOL Now that I have kids I totally get into Halloween. It`s fun to do it all over again!

And like he says, it only take three licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop!

Ahhhhh, TPing, that brings back such fond memories...

I live in a gated community and last year somebody TP`d one of
the condo- nazi`s houses, It was the best laugh I`d had and
even better because it rained before he had time to clean it up..
I know it`s juvenile to get a laugh at someone else`s expense
but I have to say he did deserve it!

My son is going as Frankenstein.  I just got back from the grade school parade.  The kids looked great!
