Thanks for the kind words!  Of course, I forgot to mention that we can certainly give a tour of the TechShop facilities.  It is a great place for people to build prototypes for their business idea.

We hold seminars and talks here quite often.  The Inventors Alliance meets at our place and conducts workshops nearly every weekend, and Tesla Motors is coming here in May to give a talk and show off their electric sports car.

I hope TechShop can host this Start Up Nation get-together!

Rich - what time?

If you want to do this at TechShop, someone can probably pick you up (maybe me?).

Otherwise, I don`t really know of where to do this in SF.

i`m flexible on time and naive about geography in that region. i am at norcal`s SUNster community`s mercy!

I`m saying, does it have to be "evening"? And what time does evening mean?

You might, er ... catch more flies if they don`t have to fight traffic.
(You`d understand the traffic nightmare more if you lived here!)

Just as an example ... if you have a 6 pm meeting in Menlo Park, I would have to leave my house in Concord about ... 330 pm!

I`m down for this meeting! Please let me know when.

nikole, great point. what would be a good time? daytime has too many distractions. what time late in the evening would work?! wherever we hold it, let`s be sure there`s the opportunity for us all to enjoy some of those great california wines...

I don`t know about the others, but my attendance probably hinges on the time of the meeting.

If you guys decide to have it in Menlo Park late at night, I would probably be out. It`s just too hard on my family.

Daytime in SF ... I can scoot over on BART and just say hi if the nighttime thing doesn`t work out. Or I can go where ever during the day. I`m having a huge issue with childcare right now anyway, so the little entrepreneur might have to come along with .. it wouldn`t be the first meeting she`s been in attendance for. She`s a seasoned veteran!!

TechShop is very flexible.  Kids are OK, so no need for childcare, just bring them along!  I can even have one of our staff or volunteers here engage the kids in fun activities during the get-together.

Any time Tuesday...early in the day through late at night...is fine.

And don`t forget...I am happy to send our 15-passenger shuttle van up to SF to pick everyone up, and bring them back to SF after the event.

Believe it or not, I have April 17 off.  I don`t have April 18 off, though, and am extraordinarily fatigued due to the whole preggers thing (only 40 days to go until the little sprout comes out).

I will be on the SF side of the Bay for a good portion of the day so I`m not sure if I`ll make it over again in the evening, but if you have time in the afternoon Mr. Rich (that has a nice ring, doesn`t it?), maybe we can catch a glimpse of each other...and as a bonus, you`ll even get to meet my hubby.

Send me a note either via the message system or my regular email (Joel has it).
