Just as an example of a flowchart that you could base it on, view this ....

Something along these lines, simplified, may be helpful .... not with so many steps involved, but just as an overall idea.

Thanks for the link. I`ve done a few of those in my time. I`ll work on one and see how it comes out. Mind if I post a link to it in this thread so everyone can review?

Thanks,

Steve

P.S. If anyone else has opinions on my site`s concept, please feel free to share.

Alright, so basically what you have is a private video forum.

The key will be to explain how a post can be private, only viewable to people with persmissions.

Most people today know what an online forum is. They also understand digital video. So your explanation should build on that base.

Although the acronym BBS may not make sense, almost anyone who`s ever been to a school understands a "bulletin board." The concepts to use are that people can`t meet, hook up, connect at the same time (real time), so instead they can post a message for their loved ones, friends, family, business associates, and business partners.

Hmm....you could even do something with a "virtual secretary" idea of some sort. I`m thinking of the receptionist, dispatcher, or secretary in an office who always knows where everyone else is and passes messages back and forth.

Craig,

Thanks for the response. Right now the phrase "private video forum for friends and family" is resonating with me quite nicely. Although some of my demographic may even struggle with the concept of a forum, by placing some nice copy on the site, they may get it.

The virtual secretary is an interesting concept. I`ll have to brainstorm that one...

Thanks again for the discussion and suggestions.

I think the site looks simple, but practical.

Just by looking at the main page it looks like a site where you would go to keep in touch with people and be live. This is the next best substitute for being there in person.

I think your target customer base is college students, families that don`t live close together. Also, this could be good for people who are online dating to meet and see each other even if they don`t live far away from each other. This could be the safe way to take it one step further before meeting in person.

I think your tag line is good. I think it may need to be shorter. I don`t know anything about tag lines... just telling you my thoughts.

Hope this helps.

ChristmasLights,

Thanks for your response. Simple and practical is what I`m going for. :-) You also hit on one of my demographics, so it sounds like you "get it".

Thanks again for taking the time to look at the web site and provide feedback.
