Katherine,
In a previous thread
you said you paid $1,000 to have a business plan done professionally.
Hiring someone to develop a business plan for you is like hiring
someone to go to the gym for you. They get all the benefit and all you
have to show for it is less money.
What in the world are you planning to do that you need a million six to cover you for two years?
In another post you say you need $30K to startup. Which is it? Furthermore, there is no such thing as a business with no risk.
This may be seen by some as brutal but I see it as honest and constructive.
A lot of your posts on SUN clearly indicate that you are a novice. Nothing wrong with that. In many respects I am too, but I`m not seeking 1.6 mil in financing from investors in
blind faith based on sales projections pulled out of thin air. Everything you`ve written here has been
cached by Google and any investor would do a due diligence search and read what you`ve written.
In my opinion you need to quit shooting for the moon and just try to get over the fence. Have you ever heard about
the owner of a chain of restaurants who started with a hot-dog cart?
You need to follow the same model. Instead of a hot-dog cart it may be
sales on eBay but you get the picture. Start small with the resources
you have and grow. The $1,000 you already spent on a business plan
would have been enough to get something going. Find another $1,000 and
get your business started. I see that you live in New York city. I used to buy
food from a cart outside the Brooklyn Navy Yard when I worked there.
Sell your beauty products to people outside office buildings before and
after work and at lunch hour. It`ll take longer than you`d probably
like to get to where you want to be but that`s the way life and
business is.
I hope this helps you. I don`t mean to hurt you but you need to hear the truth.
