Hooray!  I`m soooo psyched!  With all the planning surrounding the sale of this home, the search and purchase of a new home in a new state, attending grad school, eating, drinking, sleeping, and dreaming the business I`m due to start, I knew there was so much I could do.  And like a jester juggling numerous balls in the air, I knew that at some point one (or several) of those balls was due to hit the ground and fast!  My health ball hit the floor hard and that was it!  (By the way, I`m healthy again.)  Thank Goodness!

With the support from loved ones, I handed in my resignation 2 weeks ago and will leave corporate America (hopefully) for good this week!  I can`t wait!  That feeling created by handing in that valuable piece of paper was invigorating and quite freeing.  I know there`s a tough road ahead and I believe when folks say "it`s scary out there on your own", but I`m ready!

I`m going to maximize my new freedom to do the things listed in 1st paragraph, which also includes finalizing my Life and Business plans.  I`m not going into business because I think I`m going to make $ overnight.  Goodness, it may take a bit of hard work to truly realize any revenue!  Having my business and directing my own destiny is payment enough.  Anything after that is gravy:-)

I love SuN so much because like so many other positives in my life, this community truly inspires and encourages me.  Thank you!

May we all continue to provide a sanctuary of significance to one another now and for those budding entrepreneurs soon to follow.

Your story is inspiration to all of us trapped in the corporate cube farms across the world... trapped, at least, for now.
Rock on!

A little over a year ago I quit the day job. I have never been so
happy in my life. Although I have yet to match my corporate
world job earnings. But that`s ok. Everyone wants more money,
but what about more happiness. I can do without a large
paycheck and live happily with freedom and a dream.... that`s
becoming reality. By the way... earnings are on the rise.

Hey there, what a weight that must have been lifted off of your back.  I am just starting out on my venture and cannot wait to share with others what I sell.  When you believe in your product and business it becomes the snowball that leads to the avalanche.  Good luck in all that you do I am rooting for you. Keep in touch. Linda

Congratulations to EVERYONE who has the courage to leave the coporate world behind.  I learned that lesson early on in life.  I worked for a company right out of college for 5 years.  I gave them 60+ hours a week.  I then got "downsized"  or as I call it fired.

I decided at that moment...well.... after crying for awhile, that I would never give anyone that power over me again.

I have been an entreprenuer for about 20+ years now, grew a huge catering business from a shoe string after 12 years it was time to not work quite that hard so I started a professional organizing business.  It too grew well and was fun.  Now I have decided that residual income is the way to go...  It is nice to not be the only one pulling the wagon.

A business mentor of mine who happens to be a Past Super Bowl Champion told me that his coach ALWAYS said that the guy out on the field having the most fun was the most dangerous.   I must say we are having fun!

What ever you choose be sure to have fun out there!
