Hello, my name is Mark Combs and I am looking for some help. I have run into a major problem. My partner and I are looking to open a daiquiri bar in Midtown Atlanta, Ga. We had an investor lined up to back us and they have pulled out at the last minute due to an unexpected personal financial matter, leaving us in the middle of negotiations with virtually no capital. This is a great location with minimal build out needed, mostly cosmetic changes as we are going to lease purchase our equipment and take advantage of auctions to obtain anything else that we need. The start-up capital needed is approximately 150K and we are willing to negotiate on ownership percentages. We will be running the operation as we have a combined 30 plus years in the industry, in order to keep our payroll costs down to a minimum. We will act as the primary bar staff and we already have a kitchen manager lined up. All aspects of the company have been designed already. We just are desperately looking for another investor, so as to not lose this property. If anybody can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Excellent suggestion Phanio. $150K is certainly doable and it sounds like you've got the industry experience to pull it off. If you still come up short of funds you are welcome to request funds at Preneuraholics.com. It will be open for business very shortly. This is a new funding source created to provide help for entrepreneurs that have not been able to obtain funding from traditional sources (banks, SBA, venture capital, angels, grants). Get more info from the blog below.

Good luck to you.
