wow! you have lots of ideas!  the best way to start is to do some soul-searching - which one or two really fire you up..passion is the fuel that is required as you plan and execute the business.  starting a business takes lots, and lots, and lots of energy and if you aren`t fired up from the beginning at like, 1000000%, then you will have little reserves to tap into when you hit those obstacles!  so i say figure out which business gets you excited.  then do the research as to the `do-ability` of that business....

with that aside...i say

I like your idea about financial education for 20-somethings. As the mother of a young adult, it has been quite a journey to make sure she was informed enough about financial issues to get a good start in life. However, I would steer clear of bricks and mortar and create something on the Internet, to hold the costs down.

If you used affiliate marketing to link young people to resources, you could monetize your efforts by providing advertising, but limiting the affiliate programs to resources you believe in. To learn more about affilate marketing, visit http://www.netprofitstoday.com.

#9 the business idea also has merit. Good luck, the best time to start a business is when you are young and have lots of energy. Believe me, it will take all the energy you have to achieve a success

JSiegel,

Many people like #9, but isn`t that LinkedIn.com and MySpace? How would you get businesses to join? I think Volt.com also keeps business data.

I suggest pick the one you are most passionate about. Check out www.wishcraft.com to give you some exercises to really discover what your top passion right now is.

If you ever do the costumes, please let me know.

All the best,
John

Wow! You have a lot of ideas! Very cool. i do like the "costumes" idea too... not to be crass, but that sells! Everyone needs a little fun in their day (or evening)   That market NEVER gets dry!
