I can totally relate. We mompreneurs certainly have a unique set of challenges. It feels impossible sometimes, but just knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel in September, helps me through these last few weeks of summer break.
12 HOURS?!! Oh I soooo wish! I told my husband tonight to `get home before I implode`. I have 2 kids who are 8 and 5 - and they fight constantly so business calls are usually out of the question until after my husband gets home - and then, well I can forget everyone on the East coast! ` I did a SUN podcast recently, and Rich called me in the morning when I was NOT in business mode. I`m sure at first he thought I was half braindead because I was having a `mommy meltdown` with the kids running all over the house. I had to sneak outside and sit on the swings to talk to him!
In the morning, I grab my coffee and head to my office to check emails - I have to clear the path of toys out of my way! I`m usually doing website updates, designing products and illustrations - with the kids climbing all over me.
Anyway...it`s ME time now. Gotta go have a glass of wine and relax for a few minutes. Just wanted to let you know you`re not alone! Hang in there for 12 more hours and you`ll start getting stuff done
