Definitely better color scheme! Now I have only two problems:

1. Not enough content to make me want to buy from here
2. Site is sluggish on my DSL line, and makes me antsy to want to try some other store.

Three things -

1. Your menu rollover doesn`t work properly (viewing with IE7). When I mouseover the menu item it turns completely black.
2. It would be better to limit the amount of text content for each item shown on the home page.  Look at other ecommerce sites... most have a small paragraph at most shown with the product image... then the complete description when the viewer clicks on the product.
3. Table outlines - yuck...not my favorite.  I would eliminate them.
