I decided it was time to get out after watching most of my peers getting laid-off or fired. We bit the bullet and started a community paper that took off faster than we anticipated. It actually did so well, that we decided to help others do what we have been able to do. So far so good... but I do miss that company gas card 
Our advice? There are better things in life than working for someone else and making THEM money. Some things are worth the risk!
