My sunless Tanning product was just exhibited at a Trade Show in San Francisco....... The traffic at the show was disappointing and instead of Spa/Salon owners we where getting a lot of beauty students. Day 2 I decided I had to create my own success and started looking at the other exhibitors as customers.
I walked the floor and targeted the biggest display`s that offered more then one product, at the show,(this meant that they had other companies products and not just there own line as some do)  I approached theses display`s , asked if the buyer for new products was there. In EVERY case they where at the show. I made appointments to demonstrate our product line right there at the show. and...... on the spot a very large distributor said yes they would carry our line, two others love it and made appointments for Nov 22 at there office.  Another companies buyer  asked for our margins and more information to be sent so there  whole company could decide.  This was a huge success!!!! we did sell the public as well, but took the opportunity to pitch the buyers and had everything we needed in this location.

That’s the entrepreneur at heart. You had and obstacle and creatively found a solution! That’s really great thinking.

This is actually quite difficult to do. You have to get up off your butt and put some energy in to something other that being sad about a slow show. I really commend you!

Thank you for responding, I found it pretty easy. We where all at a trade show for the same industry....... as in most case`s!
