hi, first of all i want to thank everyone beforehand for their replies, your advice is truly much appreciated. God bless you

well heres the thing, im need a website thats an extremely dumbed down and simplified version of ebay. Its a site where you become a member (password and username) and have an amount of free starter credit, you can put up items with siple details text and a picture or two just like ebay but instead of being an auction or buy it now site its just plain advertisment. people can use the site to find things theyre looking for and when intrested in an item they clik to open the page with more details, big pictures and seller contact information also like ebay but for every view/click the person who posted the item loses a certain amount of credit plus another set amount for the time the item stays posted. thats prety much all i want the site to do.

it should me simple compared to an auction site i think... when the credit of a member runs out they send moneyorders/moneygram/westernunion sort of thing and i manualy add to thier credit, i know it can be done digitaly with programs like paypal but it sounds too hard and not for me ( im actualy not all that knowing about using paypal) .

i can make a simple website but adding membership where members make their own pages like ebay and a calculation program that automaticaly calulates how much credit has been used with no. of clicks as an element thats beyond me. it still sounds within reach if someone could guide me on the steps and programs to use and what to do. also if all the data went in a sort of database that would be great, also what would it take to have money automaticaly put in their criedit instead of me adding for each person manualy. i know of rentacoder.com but never used them... if u cant tell me how to do it myself please give me an idea of what to ask for from rentacoder.com and any tips u have

thank you for taking the time and im sorry its such a long message but i reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly need your guidance
p.s if you know anyothere sites or forms where i can get real help please tell me
thank you all

If you post on rentacoder.com, just basically state the same that you did here, they`ll get the idea.

All in all, it doesn`t sound too difficult to create the scripting for the membership/posting/images/credits used via php and mysql, the payment integration would depend on the service you use if you go that route. Personally, if I had to physically send money to you then wait for my account on your site to be credited, I`d probably pass on using it. I`m not going to have any idea how long I need to wait for the credits to be entered into my account, where if I went through Paypal or another payment system, the credit happens now, and I instantly have a paper trail of what I`ve paid.

Just my opinion.

thanks for the reply...

that was pretty helpful, but can i also ask if its possible to integrate western unions payment tracking system so that as soon as WU registers the payment the credit is automaticaly entered into the account?

If i were to use rentacoder i suppose theyed give me plain script. How do i use this script? do i let the coder attach it to the site or is it a copy paste job or what?

also any idea of cost?time?

I have no knowledge of how WU works or how to implement them.

You`re pretty much going to have to have some of the scripting integrated into your pages, plus probably additional script pages that do processing behind the scenes. If you already have your sites basic pages made, you`ll have to add the created scripting into the corresponding pages. You`ll also need a database set up to store user information.

It sounds like you have an aversion to Paypal and other processing systems, and that would probably be the best bet for most users since they know the name and may have used them already. Money orders, WU, etc., in my opinion, will just put people off from using the system.
