Many of you might have observed that your website appears in different positions as per different location. Means you have different ranking for the same keywords in google.com and google.co.uk . If you are facing the problems in getting higher ranking to specific country as with its extension , Get the type of links I am describing  here.

Get the links from the websites with hosting server located in your targeted country.

Get the links from the site where there is a good region content. ( Information on food, places, news of specific country you want to target).

Get the links from the sites with the same extension. If you want to target google.co.uk try to get links from the site with .co.uk extension.

If your hosting server in different country then targeted, If possible change your hosting server.

Upload regular content on your website relevant to your industry and specific to your targeted country.

Above tips will work for the specific Geo location. You need to be accurate check the quality of each link from the sites with above criteria.

 

 

 

 

 

Geo targeting will give you more targeted visitors in your website. If you are offering products or services for Malaysian market, it would be best to use geo targeting. However, if your purpose is to simply get to the top search result for your keyword, consider linking to worldwide sites.
