I know a few companies that I would like to partner with and I wasn`t sure how to approach them. I run a software training company that does software training for businesses that use customized software. So I was thinking to partner with some software developers. I just don`t want to call them and say "hey" I want to partner with you. any ideas or suggestions?

Think about it in terms of helping them.  Approach them with how you can benefit their company.  Tell them why you would be a good match for them.

Choose very wisely who you partner with also. Look for any potential hazards first thing.

Voice of experience telling you that the wrong partner can distroy your business, or worse yet, take it over as their own leaving you with nothing.

Firstly, Let them know you are setting up a few "strategic Partnerships" ..Then say they you thought it might make sense for both of you to chat.  I ahve been seeting these things up for years..

Your a SW training shop..?  What states do you cover?
