Good advice from Nicher - this is where the internet marketing revolution is right now. But a succesful marketing campaign is made up of many different parts including offline advertising.

Hey PVnation! If you want to do mass email, there are software you could use to do it without hiring someone else to do it for you. There are programs like SendBlaster Bulk Emailer that you could use. If you want, you could find your own mass email program by searching google.

Having helped launch several member sites at my previous agency, I can say there are two difinite ways to get members (both require getting people to your site).  I have also used these for my current site small business ideas + management .

  • Use SEO to drive people to your site.  Provide content of value and require people to register to get it - a white paper, special report...
  • Use SEO to drive people to your site.  Provide some reason for them to resigester...  This might include a free profile of their business, the ability to post free classified ads, a free blog with posts featured on the home page, a do follow link, etc.
Hope this helps.

Great advise from John. I would go there.

You could also use online paid advertising like Google Adwords to get targeted prospects. If your niche is not too competitive, it won`t cost too much.

You could join online forums relating to your niche and link your website to your signature. Then engage in discussions on your topic. When people get interested in what you have to offer them, will definitely visit your website.
