I need to know what is the process to transfer a DBA to a new owner (sole proprietor) in CA. I purchased a business (includes all his fixed assets and consulting fees) 2 1/2 months ago and we've decided to resell it back to the previous owner. Both parties agreed. I just need to know what steps should I take to make this transaction go smoothly. How is the sale-purchase and back treated as? If someone can give me some info, I need the help. Thanks
