Love
The Secret. Believe The Secret.
After reading it, I was thinking, "wow. my life is so great. I really
wouldn`t change anything. Pay off debt. That`s it. Then I don`t have to work, I
can be with my kids!"
So I start. I ask. I believe...I fill out my universal bank check. I start
slowing down taking jobs so I can gently fade out of the business that I
own so I`m not gone on weekends. Total
Bliss.
Turns out, my business COSTS us money
now that we`re married. no child credit. We make too much.
I feel like I manifested the wrong way! What do I do?
Is this a business you can sell since you are trying to fade it out? If not, you may be stuck with this burden until you can assign it over to someone else. Are you incorporated?
"The Secret" is the fad version of a much more sophisticated set of principles and information.
Lots of people believe they can just think about something, and
"manifest" it into being without there being anything else involved. It
doesn`t work that way.
The Law of Attraction is simply a basic principle of energy. Those
things with a similar vibrational harmonic will attract each other.
But attraction is only one "law." There`s also the principle of
Contrast, the principles of Co-Creation, and the concepts of Life
Lessons.
Thinking about something isn`t the same as envisioning something.
Imagining is the first step, but for "The Secret" to work, there must
also be an emotional investiture---a passion. We`ve had lots of people
on another thread who propose that "passion" is just another
meaningless word. That`s fine, but it turns out that without passion
(and knowing what that means), dreaming and imagining something to
"manifest" doesn`t work all that well.
Our time in history presents a resurgence in the understanding that
mind and energy work in concernt, and that there`s an organization to
the universe. Anyone who`s attracted to "The Secret" clearly has a need
and a yearning for more in their life.
But you`ve started your post by saying that "my life is great. I really
wouldn`t change anything." And so, regardless of your experience with
The Secret, nothing is changing. See?
