Life is changing with technologies developing. Since the born of Internet, a lot of impossible things in the past became easy and common, while some old traditions disappeared before we ever noticed.
Take mails as an example. With a capital “e” added nowadays, passing information from one to another is as simple as a gentle click on your mouse. However, does anyone miss the old days when you would receive a letter from miles away and spend the whole afternoon writing a reply with a nice letter pad? I do. I could say that I was much more serious about what I wrote down at that time than what I type with my keyboard today since I know that what people say in a letter would actually mean something. While for today, when every single one of my inboxes is overwhelmed with marketing emails – newsletters, advertisements, auto-replies, etc.- I started to neglect those emails , deleting everything that look unfamiliar, and sending out one-sentence replies. Those emails did a great work of making life faster, but less valuable to some extent.
