Great job on home schooling.  I admire those that are able to do it.  I don`t think I could handle home schooling.  I think that in difficult subjects, my little girl gets too frustrated with me and just wants me to give her the answers, which I don`t and she thinks I just like to see her struggle.
I read with my little girl and have read plenty of 2nd to 3rd grade books.  I don`t care for Junie B. Jones series as the little girl talks in baby talk and says words like "bestest" and "stupid, smelly school bus".  But my little girl likes them and all her friends are reading them and talkinag about them.  I have encouraged her to read other books and she is getting more interested in other books--from talking with others, I should just be happy that she is reading.

I have a small stack of books that I want to read  (I get to choose free books every month from BookWise and I haven`t been able to set aside enough time to read them all.)  I will take your recommendations as I get to those.  Thanks!

I read about 4 books a month on average.. mostly non-fiction books on small business, popular economics. I`m a pretty slow reader...

I just finished Richard Branson - Losing My Virginity... what a great book and amazing story.

Currently reading Predictably Irrational.

3-4 books per month.  Mostly non-fiction.  I find I have to schedule time to read or else the books pile up.
