When you enter a keyword at a search engine like Google®, you get back two types of results - paid search ads, also known as Pay Per Click ads, plus natural or "organic" results. Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising works together with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to give you immediate visibility in the ad spots while you improve your natural search results over time.

 

Getting your website to rank as high as possible in the natural search listings is accomplished through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Getting your website to appear in the paid ad spots is accomplished by developing a Pay Per Click advertising campaign.

Use PPC is very easy to get a good position if you have enough monty but SEO is very slow and competitive.

PPC is a quick way to get yourself on the top of Google. While SEO requires a lot of time and effort, and it can take months before you even start to notice your efforts. However once you stop your PPC campaign you will lose your results as quick as you got them.

Before I go into why PPC and SEO are so different,first of all what is SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Well SEO are things that you do in order to get your website and web pages to the top of the search engines for given keywords or phrases. For example, if someone is searching for the term “how to make money online” – you would want to use SEO to get your website to appear at or near the top of the search engines for that keyword (and often a set of keywords that are very similar to that keyword).So how do you use SEO in order to get your websites to the top of the search engines for given keywords? Well first of all there are two separate parts of search engine optimization that you need to concentrate on in order to get the full benefit of SEO. And you definitely will need the full benefits of search engine optimization in order to get to the top of the search engines for keywords that are getting medium sized traffic to very large sizes of traffic (Using Search Engine Optimization to Drive Traffic). You will not need as much SEO work in order to get small sized traffic keywords to the top of the search engines (in most cases at least). Lets go into what exactly Pay Per Click (PPC) is............ PPC is exactly what it says it is, when you pay per click. You sign up for pay per click networks with large search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing and you start setting up your account. Once you have your account all setup you can then start setting up your ad groups where your ads will then be triggered by the keywords of your choice. So what happens is that you setup ads for a specific ad group. Each of the keywords that you enter into that specific ad group are the keywords that will “trigger” your ad to show. So any time someone types any of the keywords that you picked for that ad group into the search engine (lets say Google for example) – your ad will show up. The placement of your ad depends on a lot of factors as far as how much you are paying per click, how good your click through rate (CTR) is, and the relevancy of your landing page and ads to your keywords. The thing about PPC is that you get total control of what keywords your ads are going to be showing for, which means you get to control exactly what type of visitors are coming to your site. This is a very powerful method of marketing that can make a LOT of money if it is done correctly, but it is a very tough form of marketing that I definitely do not recommend for beginners (The Most Common PPC Mistakes). PPC provides instant measurable results.  It's ROI based marketing. You get INSTANT feedback on which ads & keywords are working.  SEO can take a lot of time and effort only to find out that the keywords you targeted are not the best.


The best solution is to do both.  Find good keywords to target using PPC.  Then focus your SEO efforts on those converting PPC keywords.

Hello..

PPC is a model of advertising and marketing that uses ads on various websites on the internet. When an ad is clicked, the people advertising will pay the site hosting their ad whenever it is clicked while Organic SEO is more like public relations where you have to work like making changes to your website to include targeted keywords and phrases and increasing the number of qualitative incoming links to your website.

PPC and SEO both comes in Search Engine Marketing. One is paid and second is unpaid but have same motive that is getting potential customers from search engine. PPC is paying when visitor click on your ads but for SEO you dont have to pay when visitor click. But SEO requires website optimization which requires time, whereas PPC need ads quality and payment which you have to give...
