I purchased a PR 3 domain, did all the checks so it was legit. Purchase was finalized Friday but haven't put content on yet. Now the PR is n/a and the home page is not indexed, but the inner pages are indexed and show pr 1. I read the other threads where this sometimes happens where the PR drops temporarily but for the home page not to be indexed?? What going on there? The inner pages are indexed.
