Well, I don`t use myspace or facebook cause I run a medium business. But youtube is good for me and I benefit a lot from it.

You`d have to ask the MySpace business if they hacked their way to success.  There`s a huge bug in MySpace where you can bypass all the limitations for sending notes, blog posts, invites, etc and I`m willing to bet they used this.  I`ve been looking into this method for one of my customers but it`s not my highest priority right now.  This same customer is on Facebook as well and we get a bigger following there.

I have utilized both myspace and facebook to attract clients, leads, and generate joint venture op`s for my company. It is a great way to connect with people all over the world. I have actually advertised with facebook ppc and found it to be very very interesting. they definitely are doing something right over there.

I have started offering social marketing consultancy to some of my clients. showing them how to integrate social networking sites into their marketing plans. it has actually for some (depending on the business and industry) exploded their sales guys with leads and contacts.
