In a post a couple weeks ago I mentioned that I was living and working in the middle of a construction zone as my backyard was renovated by my friends at Joy Creek Nursery.  I`m thrilled with the results and you can check out my new garden in How does your garden grow?  It`s going to be a great "summer office." In fact, one client has already proposed that she and a co-worker bring lunch over one day to escape from their place of work.

By the way, how does your garden grow? Have a great weekend!

Jeff,

The garden is beautiful! Congratulations!  For now, our backyard isn`t doing much of anything other than being prepped for the home sale.  Once we`ve relocated, I intend to plant flowers, herbs, and veggies.  I can`t wait!  In the meantime, my spiritual garden experiences growth when there is opportunity to learn, meet new people, share life lessons, laugh, pray, sit in silence, and just be.

When`s the "garden warming" party?  I`ll bring cheesecake and lots of laughter.

All the best!

Cre8iveOne and Kathy -

Thanks for your comments.  Really enjoying the new garden space.  Have spent more time outside in the last 10 days than we did all of last summer.  It`s a beautiful invitation to be outdoors for work, play or total relaxation.  Still adding a few final touches to this phase.  It gets a trial run as an entertainment space this weekend when we host the graduation party for Ed`s sister. (She had her Associates degree and while working full-time went back to school to get her Finance degree - it`s a great reason to celebrate).  Now the guys from the nursery want to re-do parts of the front yard - eliminating the remaining grass and adding a little stone patio that will be hidden from the street by our now mature plantings.  We love the fact they use our garden as a marketing and promotion tool for the nursery`s plants and landscaping services.

Hi Jeff!

My "garden" is a collection of pots on my lanai.  Since we don`t really have a back yard, that`s about as good as it gets, but it`s a relaxing and beautiful retreat for me.  I have picture posted on my personal blog.  Send me a private message if you`re interested in seeing it...

Anyhow, I have a gardenia bush, our mini tree we bought at Christmas, roses, hydrangea, a probably dying purple calla lily :(, a Lily of the Valley that is coming back to life, a hybiscus, jasmine and other little goodies.  :)  It was one of my proudest accomplishments last month.  :)
