a week before christmas I was caught up and ran out of work for my guys. They knew it was coming, and are used to it as it is part of the trade of being a carpenter (so they said). I assured them that there were several projects in the works and things should pick up after the first of the year, and already just a few days after christmas inquiries are flooding in and we all should be working again in a couple weeks.
the question is how do you all feel about laying off employees, I personally think it sucks, it is the second time this year. they seem to hang in and have a great attitude (better than mine).
I am sure we will have a project by next week, and things will get crazy again as the spring arrives, I was just curious if others have the same feelings.
