Sarahleighm,

I like your site and thought (from my own selfish perspective) that it would be nice if you added a housewarming area. I give away a housewarming gift to people who move in to the area if they come in to my store.

Currently I give a scroll work rubber welcome mate. It’s nice and is not your typical welcome mate.

I always thought it would be nice to allow a potential client to come in to the store go to a website and select from several different gifts that the company pre-approves the potential client does not see any prices no credit card information is asked for just click on the item then enter shipping address.

When the item arrives it is gift wrapped and/or comes with a welcome card and the company’s name and logo on it.

The merchant bills me monthly for the items sent and sends me a list of names, address, and item selected.

The idea is to get the customer to come into the store and see my product and understand its value, even if they don’t buy perhaps they will meet someone, or already know someone who will be interested and will recommend me.

Just a thought,

 Eric

Eric,
That`s not just a thought, it`s a great idea. I will certainly look
into that. I originally started my business making gift baskets,
and then I had customers who just wanted the contents and so
it evolved from there. But your idea is definitely worth
investigating further. I could have it listed under "Everything but
the kitchen sink" I will keep you posted on development.
Cheers

Sarahleighm,

Great! I can tell you I give out around 20 welcome mats a month and they cost me $20 for each.

I am interested in seeing how it turns out,

Eric
