E-books are very easy to do. All you need Adobe Acrobat Creator, and helpful topic to write about. Make sure you site your resources by using APA or MLA. You could get free Adobe Creators, however, they will provide some type of advertising. Write your eBook in Word or Word Perfect. If you have Word Perfect, they have Adobe Acrobat converters already. Hope this helps.

it is an easy online publishing solution.
I think www.publishamerica.com is another, my friend paula published a book "Fallen on my knees" there.
Be careful with some companies, because you want to know who is purchasing the ebook. A company like LULU, its a great company and I`ve had clients use it, but.... they will not tell you who purchased your product. So it makes it hard to get repeat customers or feedback.
The adobe web site offers you a few free PDF conversions. I`ve tried some free PDF converters and decided to purchase the one at http://www.pdfonline.com for $15 bucks. I hear that there will be some sort of PDF converter on the new Word, but I`m not 100% sure.
I have many ebooks on the web, but I am computer literate, so LMK if this is too much or if there is anything below that you don`t understand...
a) you need a sales letter and a web site. Godaddy.com is a great place. You can set up the web site name for under $10 and purchase their "web in a night" package.
Do you know of a copywriter or school that could use a project to work on? Or a web designer who would create a professional looking page or two for you in return for income as you sell the ebook?
Don`t let the school thing pass you by. I had a student in a web class and I mentioned finding a school to create even a part of her web site, since she had little money. We`ll they made it the project for the year. She ended up with a great web site, a logo and business cards, too.
If it`s an ebook that organizers can use, LMK cause I know of a site where they could sell your ebook for you, and they would take a commission per order. You`d still have to do some work, but they would take care of a good chunk of the web site problem.
b) a way to collect money. Shopping cart (or button) and then a service that will collect money and then pay you.
You can do this using paypal, 2check out. OR you can use clickbank.com which might be an easier route to take.
c) marketing - well you want the ebook to have a cover, page numbers, and link to your site ;) vs. be some good stuff in a horrid "wrapper". Will you make it also available by CD for an extra price?
Articles are a good way to marketing on the web. i.e. using article banks or article directories. Go to http://www.ArticleBanks.com for more info on that.
And ... I would create a marketing plan for each ebook IF they each have their own audiance. Or you might end up spending WAY more than you need to spend. Especially since there are so many people "out there" who would take advantage of your "lack" of IM (internet marketing). I`ve seen it done, so please be careful.
