hi kristine!  i was at the amazing seminar that Rich Sloane presented at in San diego, the vision to venture for women series, which i absolutely recommend if you can make it to one!  a women on the panel gave a GREAT tip on how to find reps.(she is in the jewelry arena) ..because there are no directories for `stationery reps` as you well know!  soooo, go to your competitors sites and find the names of the reps that they use that are usually posted on their websites. then, pick up the phone and plug away!! let me know how goes for you!!!
