Simply click on my profile in your profile box on the left-hand side of your StartupNation webpage, then on update your profile.

Once the update window comes up, you can adjust your information accordingly.

When finished, click save changes and your new information will be saved.  You can return to the community home page via the top navigation.

I am having problems with my signature area... For some reason, it won`t create a carriage return, so all the lines are together.

The strange thing is, that I typed them in, and can see them when I hit the review button.  It only appears wrong in my actual forum post.

HELP!!!

I have the exact same problem, although I see from others` signatures they have overcome it somehow.  Could someone explain?  Thanks!

Ditto here on the line breaks.

Also, I see many members have "LIVE" links in their signatures. At first I thought maybe you needed a certain # of activity points for that to go active, but I`ve seen many brand new members that have live links in their sigs. I`ve tried hmtl code, full URLs, and shortened URLs -- nothing works.

If you could help with that too it would be much appreciated!

Aloha!

My inbox is being inundated with emails notifying that someone has replied to  my post - all of them are posts about the contest you are running.

I`ve changed my settings to  NOT receive email notification but I`m still getting notices.

Is there something else I need to do to turn off the email notification?

Thanks,
Debbie

Debbie,

That little message link in the upper right hand part of this page....I think it`s a little backwards. I believe that when it reads "notify me of new replies" then it is sending them and when it reads "disable notifications for this topic" it blocks them.

It should probably be changed so that when you click it, that`s what happens and then a message reads. "You have disabled notifications for this topic".

If changing that doesn`t work then something else is wrong. They are constantly making changes so if there is a major problem I`m sure they`ll take care of it soon. If not send a message using the contact tab at the top.

Sorry about that.

I have a question not about updating, but what are the activity points for?  If I get to 100 do I win something?

Small business require leads to grow their business and the leads
are got in from different sources like email signature, web directories
and in any electronic format, the problem is that these leads are not
entered properly into the database and the job of copy and paste of
leads is a pain,

software tool can automatically enter contact details into
ACT! Goldmine, Outlook, Salesforce.com Excel. Just by highlighting
and in a click the contact details goes into respective fields like
name, email, address, phone etc.
accurately and instantly
