I am lurking...:-) ..still awake..afraid if I type..no one will understand my sleepy mess. Any who.. just checking in . I agree I think SUN should offer a critique area that members can add a website to a queue and members that opted in to "critique" will be sent the request. Then it will work similar to a survey and the member benefits from a larger scale consortium.Or it can be on a rating system..with 1- 10 criteria. The poll feature already in place may be a good start. You can have a link button on the nav that says "get a website critique. Rich or the team at SUN can then add the members site to a simple forum post with a standard poll where the member would get results based on members input as well as comments. This could work and it is already in place..just need a new nav, a page for a member to send the SUN team their web link and whoolah..there ya go :).

As someone who is wearing every hat in the company, it would be a great gift to have someone critique websites and offer suggestions in a forum of its own.  When I first posted I did have someone check out my site and offer some really good ideas, of which I took (thank you again!) and he was right, it is better - I felt good about the suggestions and some that I just could not change had to stay the way they were. So, yes the critique from those who have walked before us newbies is a another great offering of valuable info!  It is good to hear feedback from people who don`t have a vested interest in your business.

Colleen,

That`s why everyone should just jump in and post, we both survived!
Hope your Sun Safe event goes well!!

I like the idea of a list of questions for website critiques.  It would keep it to the point, and something we could all,.... probably learn from. I`m always interested in reading the critiques.  Just like anything else in business, if you have a website, you need to keep up!

I would also think with your recent pub on The Big Idea that more & more people would find out about you.
Quality? People are here to learn and the site does offer some very good resources and people that respond quite well I think.

Thanks for the tip on readtheanswer.com - I can`t wait to get my copy!
It does makes a lot of common sense, I have put in practice some of the changes they talk about and have had some pretty good results. What I could achieve armed with more answers (pardon the pun) is really exciting!

First time here, and generally speaking, I find the site impressive and worthwhile.

Just because you asked for everyone`s .02...

I`m mostly a lurker here.. find some great information for the most part but have yet to find my groove in responding. I do feel like there is a lot of spamming going on with the posts and unfortunately I don`t have any constructive input on how to reduce that but I know it usually turns me off from the thread. I understand that to moderate each post would take a tremendous amount of manpower and time but if there were any way to reduce that it would be a big boost to the quality of posts.
