Hi guys,

I have been looking into some of the ways that people drive traffic to websites and a lot has been around press releases.  

I have never done a press release and I am certainly interested in doing one but don't know where to start other than google.

What are your tips for running an effective press release and how to you create them?

I sure hope there are free sites where press releases can be put up for free. It would really help starting business gain the publicity that they need to get their ball rolling.

I must say informative thread. I need to know the chemistry between Press Release and Page Rank.

I'm sure some people have used online press releases with a lot of success, but especially with the smaller "build your page rank with press release" websites, I found that they ended up being more of a waste of time.

You can just have to post articles which is capable for press releases, and go to press releases sites, try to search Google all you can find there.

Press Release is a very effective means of promotion worldwide. Once you have your press release ready you need to submit it to different PR submission sites and let the world know about your announcement. There are two types of PR submissions that you can do. First one is the paid submission which is a very effective ways of promotion and the second is free submission. Free submission can be a slow process but can be effective with the time and if the PR submitted is really interesting.
