Hi Everyone

Its not an easy thing to promote a classified website coz you have to make some efforts to promote it.

I was trying to promote my classified website http://findia.in for that i got some important points to promote my website and now i am following those instructions.

If you want to promote your website there are some tips mentioned below.

1. If you have a classified website for specific locality then you have to promote it through local media, browchers, mouth publicity.

2. Go to related forums which have topics related to your website and post some reply to that topic but you must have to post if you know related to that topic.

3. create a page on facebook, twitter and other social media and type brief discussion about your website.

4. There are lot of free classified websites like you and you can post you ad on those classified website.

5. Try to collect some good back links related to your website it gives good ranking.

6. Submit your website on search engines so when people search query related the can get your site.

first of all search for the term like "free classified list" or free ads sites list. then contact webmasters of those sites and req them to add your link too. there are many sites for list of classified sites. secondly do atleast 5 directory submission and 5 social bookmarking. using your target keyword. third start writing articles related to free ads and post them in various sites.

please do regular maintenance of your site, delete illegal and duplicate ads :)

Hi, I am also new to classifieds sites. I recently implemented my first FREE classifieds site and I have been slow to promote it because I am not so sure how to do it (i though of re-listing classifieds from public notice boards, other printed classifieds papers and word of mouth) is that wrong?

My site is http://myjamaicanlist.com can you please review and advise?

Thanks.
