Hi,
I have a very niche-specific forum, at http://www.makemoneykingdom.com and I`m thinking of making a few changes.

I am thinking of putting out a design contest on this forum for a new theme and logo for the site. I`m not sure really how much this would cost, but I`m not in a position to spend a lot on it at the minute.

Any thoughts on the forum (and a potential redesign) would be much appreciated,
Even your small inputs are very much appreciated.

There`s no "Home" tab, so after clicking the FAQ link and doing some reading, I wanted to go back. Fortunately, you do have your headline banner linked so that worked.

I agree with the above comments, particularly the description. It`s fine to use a FAQ, but the basic function of the site should be quickly evident on the home page.

The main problem I have is organization. I don`t see an easy way to get involved with the site. Although I`m sure a flood of people will be coming online to search for ways to make "easy money" online, or even just to find work of any type, there currently are a lot already looking.

To that end, most people have a pretty good idea of the various systems out there. Your site seems to be a discussion forum to examine the many options, opportunities, scams, and product sites. There should be a better categorical organization, I think.

For example, you have a "donate" tab. That reduces your credibility. Instead, you could have a "contact" tab, and include the donate option on that tab. "Calendar," "Member list," and "vbSPY" don`t make much sense and don`t help the process, in my opinion.

What might make more sense would be to develop 5 basic categories for money-making analysis. Something like, "MLMs," "Affiliate Mktg.," "Services," "Small Business." Things like that. Then use a search option to open up only topics related to those main categories.

The idea is to help people find topics and discussion that resonate with their own particular interests. Y`know?

My corp. websense shows this listed as a game. So I will have to look at it later from home.

vBulletin is a good forum script. I see you allow people to use the "default" design instead of your yellow design (option at the bottom left of the page).
