I'll give the site a "B" grade.    Your navigation is a little rough.  Don't be so polite.  Instead of "feel free to look....", just tell the user where to go.  Your "click here" links need to be a different color from the rest of the text.  "Click here" is also redundant.  Just make the text the link.  For example, "For nutritional information click here".  First, it was not apparent at first where to go because the "click here" was not well highlighted.  A simple "Nutritional Information" link would have been fine.  (Most people don't have to be told how to click on a link any more).  Also, following the nutritional information (of particular interest to me as a diabetic), what is a serving size?

Images - I would like to see photos of your product and some assurance of the packaging.

Last, why is the shipping so high?  I think that you will see a lot of abandoned carts when people get to the shipping cost.  I won't pay $15 to ship a $6 item.  No way, no how.  You need to rethink how you ship, or prepare the buyer for the high shipping cost by explaining why it's so high.

Any chance of getting a Blackberry Butter?

Thanks for the information concerning our site.  We value your opinion and will change some things.

As far as the shipping goes, we obviously are having trouble figuring out the table.  We thought we had it at 6.95 which only left $1 for handling.  Maybe we should 'eat' that.  We thought it was high at that rate!  I am glad you noticed the backwards fee.  That should have been for $50- $74 product; $75 and above is free.

I will figure out a way to make Blackberry butter.  Shouldn't be hard.  How 'bout you can be our first taste tester!  We'll send you some for helping us out so much!

Thanks again!

PS. Is the address on your website still good?

Yes, the address is good.

In my case, and I recommend that you seriously think about this, resist the temptation to make your shipping department into a profit center.  You do so at the risk of losing customers.

I charge a flat $5 per order, regardless how many DVD's are ordered.  This covers USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box, and if the order is big enough to need a larger box, then I am happy to eat the difference.

If you want to experiment with anything blackberry, I am willing to try it.  It's my favorite fruit.

Steve

I like the site.

There is room for improvement though.

The first thing i noticed was the products drop down - there are no products listed?!

I'd make a new drop down for cart and account, the products heading is confusing.

I might recommend hiding the google calendar until there are some events to show.

Lastly, i'd try doing a special write-up on the most in season product and put it on your home page with a link to add it to the cart.

The other thing i noticed was where i added something to the cart the shopping was 61.95!... obviously there's a bug somewhere.

Sorry, last post: your checkout page is NOT secure... no ssl certificate (https)... there's NO WAY i'd put my credit card info in a page that isn't secure.

The first thing i noticed was the products drop down - there are no products listed?!

You have to actually have to click on the word "Products" to see all Products.

The other thing i noticed was where i added something to the cart the shopping was 61.95!... obviously there's a bug somewhere.

This is true i have been trying to fix this for a while.

I might recommend hiding the google calendar until there are some events to show.

Will do!

i'd try doing a special write-up on the most in season product and put it on your home page with a link to add it to the cart.

Thanks for the idea!  I thought about putting the latest blog post on there, but that could work to.

also, you say to go to the blog... where is it? i see no link... you should make the word blog a link anyways..

It is at blog.jumpinjellies.com .  Actually if you were to click on the word "Blog" it would have redirected you there.  But after lots of comments about that i think i will change the color or underline "Blog".

no ssl certificate

I didnt think it was that big of a deal, I was researching about doing that but it is pricey.  I will look farther into it!

Thanks to everyone who helped us so far!

Having an SL is important. Most people will not place an order if the website is not secure. The cost is around $135 for a two year SSL (depending on from who you buy the SSL).

One problem, when I go to the nuttrition page (nutrition subdirectory), there is not a link back to the main web site or home page.

Consider what you put on your home page, so it makes sense for search engine optimization.

GoDaddy now sells SSL certificates.  From $30 to $99 per year.
