I'm not sure if I understand this correctly either. When you say home inventory business, do mean something like retail or ebay or dropshipping?

If that is the case then it would be best to store your inventory first at home, in the garage or basement. If you need to expand, start with a Columbus self storage or two before moving on two getting a warehouse. That is if I understand the question correctly.

There are some name brand companies that allow you to sell their products on their website or on ebay. You may need to set up a DBA to resell thir products at markup but that's easy.
