Being home and at work, what do you do to keep in touch with other human beings? At a job you have coworkers around all the time... maybe too much.

Posting and communicating through forums is one way, talking with other home based business folks. Having a business coach is another.

What is your most rewarding way to fill the human touch void from home?

One way of keeping in touch with co workers is having a regular meeting. This also helps employees boost morale and meet other co workers.  We use Skype on our regular meeting and discusses about how we can improve our work.

We have a training and 3 conferences we're attending this year... so far. That will put us in front of a lot of people. Just started a Money Mastermind group locally and that's been a lot of fun.

Facebook has really helped with this.  I use FB to talk to people often.  I'll schedule skype meetings and lunches with friends or colleagues.

I also travel a lot. I'm on the road almost every month for conferences and seminars.  Those times are like social frenzies.

Other than that I much prefer the time to focus at home than being distracted by coworkers.

I joined a networking group a couple years ago.  I attend every week and this gets me out of the house interacting with other people, in person.  I find this energizes me and refreshes me to come back and work in my home office.  I also started walking my dog with my neighbors almost every day.  What a difference that made!  I get to talk and interact with people - in person - for about an hour each day no matter what.
